Hi,Open this post to share with you the evolution of my ray.
It′s a male hybrid and he was born on may 3.
03-05-2010. Diameter 5,3 inch.
09-07-2010. Diameter 5,9 inch.
30-08-2010. Diameter 7,6 inch.

The pic is 3 weeks ago, but he hasn′t changed hardly since then.
06-11-2010. Size: 8,8 inch.
20-01-2011. Size:9,9 inch.
Black lines continue to grow, they are sihgtly thicker. Brown area is getting smaller.
05/05/2011. Size 10".

Beautiful evolution. Can see the white spots within those rings.
Good choice of substrate, you should see the base of this pup getting darker. What is it current diet?

Over here in Singapore, we often feed our fishes rays with MP (Market Prawn; grey sea prawn). It is the most convenient and economical food source available in our local market places.
Other food sources include sinking pellets, squid, feeder fish, fish meat...

I use it as a supplement. The base diet are shrimp, little fish and squid.
What brand of pellets you us?. I use Hikari pellets " Massivore delite". It is very good.
